Project brief
The Flexcrash project focuses on developing a flexible, hybrid manufacturing technology to produce tailored, adaptive, crash-tolerant structures made of green aluminum alloys.
Aerobase focus
Aerobase contributes material modelling and simulation methods that connect the project’s research questions with engineering-ready workflows.
What this connects
The work brings together material behaviour, process conditions and industrial performance so teams can evaluate decisions before committing to physical production.
Research areas
- Automotive
- HPDC
- AlSi10Mg
